At Ostaga Music School we seek out music instructors with a combination of education, training, and professional experience. This ensures our teachers have a well-rounded background giving them a rich perspective to pass on to each of there students.
Michael George Gonzalez
guitar, ukulele, voice, songwriting, music theory
Michael is lead instructor and founder of Ostaga Music School. He teaches a variety of instruments and topics. He also develops group workshops and classes.
Kevin Goodman
drums + band percussion
Kevin Goodman has been teaching since 1966 and is the the author of two snare drum/drumset books as well as a variety of instructional materials for the Zildjian Cymbal Company.
Christine Sauter
piano + voice lessons
Christine Sauter is a skilled pianist experienced in classical and contemporary music. She’s done extensive work with musical theatre and sacred vocal literature. She holds a BA in Music from William Smith College.
Chris Stephens
violin/fiddle, mandolin, guitar
Chris started music with piano (age 5) then violin (age 8) and hasn’t stopped. Now the classically trained violinist and songwriter has performed throughout North America. He teaches violin (fiddle), mandolin, and guitar.
Joe Calabrese
bass + drums
Joe is a rhythm section specialist. As a professional bassist and drummer he is in high-demand. He teaches bass guitar, drums, and music theory.
Adam Fryer
hand percussion
Adam is an experienced drummer and educator. He is the founder of Two Herons Drum Circle. They lead community and educational drumming events. He is also the drummer for alternative rock group Burned Out Suns. He teaches hand percussion and rhythm.
David Kuykendall

I have over 40 years playing experience and have been teaching guitar for over 25 years. I am a graduate of Musicians Institute in Hollywood, CA. My performance experiences include weddings, clubs, corporate events, musicals ect. All styles of music specializes in funk and solo guitar (multiple guitar parts at one time).
